Our most popular direct mail tool is here with the latest changes from the United States Postal Service®.
The United States Postal Service® has released new postage rates that will go into effect later this month on July 9, 2023.
Here are a few highlights of the changes:
Marketing Mail
Non-automation letters and flats have a price structure change.
All pieces pay per piece price varying on the entry point. If more than 4oz. add per pound price.
Parcels
First Class Package Service Retail and USPS® Retail Ground have been combined and renamed USPS® Ground Advantage Retail.
First Class Package Service Commercial and Parcel Select Ground have been combined and renamed USPS® Ground Advantage Commercial.
Informed Delivery
The USPS is updating the Informed Delivery promotion eligibility criteria and Informed Delivery marketing campaign to include USPS® Marketing Mail Carrier Route Saturation Flats. The Informed Delivery promotion will include eligible USPS® Marketing Mail Carrier Route Saturation mail pieces.
The discount would be provided for mailings that meet the following criteria:
• The mail piece volume of Saturation mail pieces in the mailing is at least 80% of the total mail piece volume
• Mail pieces are palletized with a Carrier Route sorted pallet container level.
• Mail is entered at a Destination Delivery Unit.
To reduce postage, the USPS® has put together several promotions throughout the year.
