Streamworks LLC, one of the Twin Cities’ leading integrated marketing communications organizations, announced it has completed both the SSAE 16 SOC1 Type 2 and AT 101 SOC2 Type 2 audits. These audit certifications demonstrate Streamworks’ commitment to the highest standards of operational controls, quality services and data security for the clients it serves.

The SOC1 and SOC2 audits were performed by an independent certified public accounting firm and included review and examination of Streamworks’ control objectives and activities, along with testing of controls to ensure they are operating effectively.

“We felt that one of the most important steps we could make as the newly combined Streamworks was to make sure all of our processes and procedures were independently reviewed and tested. We wanted our clients to have assurance that they are working with the best in the industry,” said Tony Zirnhelt, Streamworks President. “We believe the combination of the SOC1 and SOC2 audits ensures that both our internal controls, which include our job procedures and quality control processes, and our systems, specifically as they relate to security, are strong. Our clients have greater confidence in us knowing we are committed to the highest standards.”

About the Certifications

A SOC1 audit is performed in accordance with the Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements No. 16 (SSAE 16). The audit focused on the operating effectiveness of internal controls, including the Streamworks’ quality control processes.

A SOC2 audit is based on Attestation Standards, Section 101 (AT 101). This audit focused on Streamworks’ system controls related to Security, Availability and Confidentiality as set forth in the Trust Service Principles.

Both audits standards are issued by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
